My First Time
This happens to be my first blog or journal or well any written account of my thoughts and experiences. It seems fitting to use this first blog as an introduction.I'm Lorenzo Chapa I moved to Alice Tx a couple of years ago from a small ranch in a town you have never heard of ,kinda like Urban Cowboy.I'm a joker also. I work full time as asst. manager at The Jigger a store that sells Wine & Spirits. Through this job i have learned much about wine champagne and all types of liquors and i have come to thoroughly enjoy helping customers find the right wine for a special occasion or right liquor for a party . My other passion is completing my goal of earning a bachelor's degree which I am about half way too. Through this blog I intend to give a glimpse into my life but also would like to answer or discuss any questions you all may have on wine or spirits.

Hey Lorenzo! Sounds to me that you have a good mind set! That's great! :)
ReplyDeleteKeep up the good work, good luck this semester! :)
Hi Lorenzo, hope you've enjoyed Alice thus far. Wishing you the best of luck in your studies. :)
ReplyDeleteNice to meet you Lorenzo, best of luck this semester. So I've tried white wine (chardonnay) and didn't like it, but I guess its just a taste you have to aquire. Moscato actually isn't so bad.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the comments.Good luck to you all also we have alot of semester ahead of us but im sure we will get through it like every other challenge we face. Delilah, yes moscato's have been sellin like crazy here at the store. If u like moscato id recommend a Moscato d'asti which is slightly carbonated with a great flavor and also doesnt have too much alcohol so it is very freindly to drink. Also id recommend u try a "riesling" they are also very easy to drink and have the perfect amount of sweetness. And dont give up on chardonnay just yet next time ask for an "unoaked chardonnay" this type of chardonnay is not rested in a oak barrel so it offers a more refreshing fruity flavor then the standard chardonnay. Thanks
ReplyDeleteYeah, I used to work @ a liqour store, sold alot of Castello de poggio because people were familiar with it from Olive Garden, lol ,thanks for the tips I'll definitely give that a try
ReplyDeleteHey Lorenzo hope your classes are going well...seems things are getting busy quickly this semester. I wasn't so sure about the blogging thing at first but not so bad :D Especially if I can get a good wine suggestion LOL I like red wine more on the sweet side. Enjoy the rest of your week!
